Seeking Your Teacher

$63.00

June 2nd, 5pm to 6pm MST

When we seek a Teacher, how can we find them? How will we know when we have found them? And then, how do we know when it is time to move on?

In this class I will share some of my story with you and use those examples to illustrate several concepts that are good practice if you are searching for your Teacher. With these tools you will be better prepared to meet that Teacher and make the most out of the time you get to spend with them.

As we travel this road in search of our own destiny, challenges are one of the few things that are guaranteed. We often find the capacity to overcome a challenge emerges from deep within us. And then, there are those times when it does not emerge and we fail. It may be a lack of some skill, experience or inertia. Those obstacle that limits us are hard to identify. “You don’t know what you don’t know.” This is where the right teacher can help us succeed. Whatever your path is, there is someone out there who can help you achieve your goals by pointing out the things you’ve missed and guiding you in your practice.

In my life I have learned from many great teachers and I’m lucky to say that a few of them I consider as my capital T “Teacher.” These special individuals had an immense, net-positive impact on me. I say “net-positive” because stretching and growing hurts, it’s uncomfortable and involves a lot of work. Sometimes I wanted to quit but instead I held on and saw it through. At the end of the tunnel the perspective is so much different. If I had quit too early I would have missed out on the understanding that only unfolds after resolution. On other occasions letting go was the only way forward to new teachings. I want to share these experiences with you so you can find the Teacher that will guide you to your highest potential.
